Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a fully remote role based out of NYC. You will manage daily accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel and NetSuite skills, and superb attention to detail. Remote position with quarterly in-person travel to NYC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CPA track a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transactions incl. AP/AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Participate in tax audits and payroll processes.
• Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenue.
• Manage monthly and yearly close processes.
• Monitor accounting department performance and data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct risk analyses for investments.
• Analyze financial trends and variances.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports.
