Job summary

Sierra Forensic Group (SFG) is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage complex financial operations for multiple clients, including GAAP reporting, tax filings, and monthly close processes. The role requires strong analytical abilities and the capacity to mentor junior staff in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA certification preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting and tax, with at least 1 year in a senior role.
• Knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
• Experience with advisory, compliance, or forensic engagements is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax filings.
• Manage month-end and year-end close for multiple clients.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and coordinate engagements.
