Qualifications

• Public accounting experience required; 3–5 years preferred.
• Ability to supervise and mentor staff accountants.
• Strong verbal and written communication with client interaction.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Professional demeanor under pressure; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Federal and State tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, businesses, and not-for-profits.
• Deliver accounting and tax services tailored to small businesses and individual clients.
• Plan and support day-to-day activities of attest engagements including workpaper review and preparing financial reports for clients.
• Collaborate with managers to allocate responsibilities and mentor intern and staff accountants.
• Review team members' work for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to professional standards.
• Build client relationships by serving as a responsive, knowledgeable point of contact.
• Grow your technical skills through hands-on experience and ongoing professional development.
