Job summary

Case Systems, located in Midland, MI, seeks a Senior Accountant to manage payroll, credit and collections, billing, cash reporting, and month-end close with strong ERP utilization. You will support audits and cross-departmental processes while protecting confidentiality of financial data.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting and at least five years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, and be located in the Midland area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles, general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, AR, and payroll processes.
• Working knowledge of payroll, tax and accounting compliance requirements.
• Strong ERP aptitude and proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Oversee payroll processing and reconcile earnings deductions.
• Complete monthly close, reconciliations, and supporting workpapers.
• Support accounts payable activities and vendor/invoice issues.
• Assist with audits and daily cash management and reconciliation.
