LHH Recruitment Solutions in Chicago is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead monthly financial statements, manage month-end close, and support budgeting, forecasting, and annual audit processes for a growing organization.

The role emphasizes accurate reporting, collaboration with the Assistant Controller, and flexibility to contribute to year-end activities. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 2+ years of public accounting experience are preferred; construction industry experience is a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience, with emphasis on public accounting.
• Strong skills in monthly financial statements, month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
• Construction industry experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Prepare: Take lead in the preparation of comprehensive monthly financial statements and detailed operational results.
• Manage: Month-end close with journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting to the Assistant Controller.
• Contribute: Assist with forecasting and budgeting for financial planning.
• Support: Assist with annual financial review and accrual-based year-end statements.
• Facilitate: Aid annual audit by preparing required documentation and reports.
