Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in financial/accounting functions.
• Knowledge of journal entries, financial statement preparation, GAAP, GASB/FASB.
• Excellent customer service and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex general ledger account reconciliations and detailed analysis of assigned general ledger accounts.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor account activity for accuracy.
• Research discrepancies and record appropriate journal entries.
• Assist in month-end close and close procedures.
• Account for Fixed Assets, construction in progress, capital projects and leases under GASB87 guidance.
