Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Charlotte, NC, hybrid role to join the Finance Transformation team and help optimize reporting, automation, data, and processes.

You’ll gain exposure to finance systems, ERP enhancements, and cross-functional projects while supporting monthly close and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with ERP/finance systems.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Genuine interest in technology, automation, data or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close & reporting
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - FINANCE TRANSFORMATION

Charlotte / Ballantyne, NC | Hybrid

We're working with a growing financial services business looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team and help improve how Finance operates, reports and uses technology.

This is a slightly different Senior Accountant opportunity - alongside core accounting and reporting, you'll get exposure to finance systems, automation, data, process improvement and cross-functional projects.

KEY SPECIFICATION

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close & reporting
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Help identify and eliminate manual / inefficient Finance processes
• Support finance systems and ERP enhancements
