Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in the United States is seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to play a key role in the month-end close, consolidation, and preparation of financial statements. This position provides oversight of accounting activities and supports the Financial Manager and Property/Facility Managers.

The Senior Accountant will maintain financial records using databases, spreadsheets, and accounting systems, supervise accounting staff, and ensure accuracy in revenue, expenditures,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees invoice preparation and data entry for accounting system.
• Develops and maintains records of financial transactions.
• Oversees posting of business transactions to subsidiary accounts.
• Manages expense reports and variance process approvals.
• Prepares reports and analyses on cash flow, P&L, AP/AR.
• Supervises Accountants and Accounting Coordinators.
