Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to support SEC filings and formal disclosures. You will work with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Tax and external auditors to ensure accurate US GAAP reporting and robust internal controls.

This role is based in Cranberry Township, PA with a hybrid work schedule. You will prepare quarterly and annual SEC reports, MD&A disclosures, and supporting schedules with cross-functional teams, helping drive process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA certification.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting or public company financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience drafting financial statement footnotes and MD&A disclosures.
• Experience participating in external audits with independent auditors.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
• Prepare financial statements, footnote disclosures, schedules and supporting documentation.
• Draft MD&A disclosures and other external reporting materials.
• Maintain disclosure checklists and ensure SEC compliance.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting packages and schedules.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax and others for external reporting.
• Prepare materials for executive management, Audit Committee and Board.
