Saks Global, a premier luxury retailer, seeks a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, internal and external reporting, and ad hoc analysis. You will ensure accuracy, maintain strong controls, and assist in audits while delivering high-quality financial insights across the organization.

The role emphasizes balance sheet integrity, close deadlines, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• 4-6 years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial literacy.
• Experience with general ledger and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes to deliver timely financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and internal management reports with data accuracy and insight.
• Assist budgeting/forecasting processes and provide variance analyses.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting and standalone entity financials.
• Lead the quarterly and annual financial preparation process and disclosure checklists.
• Ensure internal controls and audit readiness; support audits and cross-team coordination.
• Collaborate on process improvements and automation initiatives.
