Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4-6 years of related experience.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes monthly results to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Prepares and posts journal entries to record accruals and adjustments.
• Ensures accuracy of general ledgers for subsidiary companies.
• Assists in monthly, quarterly and annual close of financial books and records.
• Adheres to closing schedules and participates in its development.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and analyzes cash, receivables, payables and costs.
• Prepares ad hoc reports and supports critical accruals.
• Works with management on capital spending and project status.
• Communicates changes to financial statements and helps reduce future errors.
• Manages internal controls supporting the financial reporting process.
• Performs financial analysis and prepares operating budgets.
• Monitors performance against budget and reports variances.
