• Excel proficiency and ability to learn Workday financial software.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Background screenings including criminal/driving/fingerprint checks.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach, and mentor accounting team members, ensuring accountability and growth.
• Own assigned accounting activities, including journal entries and financial record maintenance.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations, close activities, and review financial statements.
• Analyze data, explain transactions, and propose actions to Finance and leadership.
• Partner with department heads to address financial questions and provide accounting support.
• Apply GAAP to record activity and audit supporting docs.
• Prepare timely reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support year-end documentation and external audits.
• Communicate financial information and emerging concerns to the Accounting Manager.
• Assist with capital asset purchases and depreciation.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for departments or entities.
• Assist with grants, HUD, and LIHTC accounting as applicable.
• Lead or contribute to special finance projects.
