Job summary

RiseMe, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The role drives month-end and year-end close, develops budgets and forecasts, and manages fixed assets with depreciation and disposals.

You will support the CFO and leadership in analyses that shape profitability and risk management, including commission administration and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5-10 years of accounting experience including journal entries, forecasting, budgeting and financial close.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Financial statement preparation and review.
• Review commission calculations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure records are GAAP compliant and communicate financial vision.
• Develop, communicate, and administer sales commissions.
• Assist CFO with annual budgets and forecasting tools.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Maintain fixed asset information (depreciation, disposals).
• Participate in internal and external financial reporting.
