The role involves preparing statements, reconciling general ledger, and assisting with budgeting and analyses in a fast-paced consulting environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics.
• CPA designation preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to accounting policies.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Collaborate with finance and operations on special projects.
