Temperature Systems, Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls.

You will be the primary accounting resource supporting the Controller and working with management to ensure accurate statements and compliant processes. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with CPA preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with preference in distribution, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficiency in distribution-focused ERP systems (Infor CSD, Epicor) preferred.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including PivotTables and Power Query.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries; own balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and analyze the general ledger for GAAP compliance and internal procedures.
• Assist with financial statements, management reports, and budgeting/forecasting.
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and sales to ensure financial accuracy across inventory and rebates.
