Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• CPA, CMA, or CFA certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other required financial close tasks.
• Prepare, analyze, and review general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company accounting policies.
• Perform accounting and reconciliation activities for assigned Energy business units.
• Support inventory and financial accounting activities including pipeline inventories, tariffs, and related processes.
• Manage refined fuels and propane inventory accounting including product costing and reconciliations.
• Prepare and support regulatory and external reporting requirements (PERC and SEC).
• Perform financial analyses to identify trends and support estimates (accruals and reserves).
• Partner with operations, commercial teams, and finance to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Execute and document SOX controls; coordinate with auditors for audits and compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements focusing on efficiency and SAP optimization.
• Champion safety by following policies and addressing hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
