Internationalinsuranceprofessionals is seeking a Senior Accountant to serve as a key technical accounting resource for complex transactions, financial reporting, endowment accounting, audits, and internal controls. You will partner with leadership, campus partners, auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective stewardship of Foundation assets.

This role also drives process redesign and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles.
• Strong understanding of endowment, investment, and fund accounting.
• Experience preparing audited financial statements and disclosures.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial system implementations, and process redesign.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with reporting tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage monthly endowment pool accounting and journal entries.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and notes.
• Coordinate endowment reporting and distributions.
• Support audit procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate tax return preparation with external advisors.
• Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead cross-functional accounting projects and advise staff.
• Monitor cash flow and liaise with partners on liquidity.
