Job summary

U.S. Orthopaedic Partners seeks a Senior Accountant to support monthly financial reporting and provide insights to the Controller and executives. You will manage journal entries, variances, and key metrics across locations.

This role requires 3–5 years of post-undergraduate experience, strong Excel, and familiarity with accounting software. CPA status is a plus but not required. No travel is expected.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Accounting is required.
• 3–5 years of post-undergraduate experience recommended.
• CPA candidates or pursuing CPA are a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reporting package and journal entries.
• Analyze operational reports and report variances to CFO/COO.
• Analyze labor and productivity metrics and reconcile to actuals.
• Account for multi-location revenue and related compensation accruals.
• Perform balance sheet and cash/bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Controller on special projects and research as needed.
• Provide clear accounting research and insights as required.
