Job summary

SolutionHealth in Manchester, NH is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead complex accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across the organization.

You will mentor staff, support leadership with decision-making, and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes while maintaining strong internal controls and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience required.
• Advanced accounting principles and internal controls knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex accounting, reconciliation, and reporting processes across entities or functions.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Oversee key aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.

About the Job:

The Senior Accountant leads complex accounting and financial reporting activities and provides subject matter expertise across finance functions. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supports leadership decision-making, acts as a trusted accounting resource for complex or high-risk matters, mentors staff, and reallocates work to maintain operational continuity.
