Job summary

Compatriot Capital, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support consolidation reporting, review property-level financials, and manage corporate accounting duties. You will apply US GAAP and lead AI-enabled improvements for efficiency and accuracy in reporting for the company and its subsidiaries.

The role requires strong Excel/Microsoft skills, familiarity with Prophix, Sage, Cherre and Workiva, and effective teamwork to meet audits and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in consolidation and external reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial reporting for consolidated US GAAP statements.
• Support consolidation processes for entities in Excel and Prophix.
• Review property level investments and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Document and review acquisitions, dispositions, and loan closings.
• Support external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Assist process improvements and AI automation in accounting.
• Close monthly/quarterly/year-end and reconcile accounts.
• Provide backup for payables, receivables, and treasury.
• Lead Cherre usage as main contact for sponsors and Cherre team.
