Beast Industries is seeking a Senior Accountant, CPG to support Feastables and other CPG initiatives. You will manage GAAP-compliant reporting, inventory accounting, and help scale financial operations with a hands‑on approach.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role focuses on close processes, cost of goods sold, audits, and cross‑functional partnership with supply chain and operations to ensure accurate, timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and strong financial reporting experience.
• Experience coordinating audits and ensuring internal controls.
• CPA is required; public accounting background preferred.
• Inventory and cost accounting in a CPG/manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile key balance sheet accounts (inventory, accruals, prepaid expenses).
• Assist with cost accounting and inventory valuation and cost of goods sold.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify variances and support decision‑making.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure accurate reporting of inventory and production activities.
• Assist Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/General Ledger activities as needed.
• Assist with audits and provide documentation for external auditors.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls; drive process improvements.
• Assist with NetSuite/ERP maintenance, reconciliations, and reporting.
