Job summary

You will support month-end close, prepare financial statements, manage vendor relations, and strengthen internal controls across procure-to-pay and order-to-cash. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and advanced Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR workflows and month-end close.
• CPG industry experience with trade spend/deductions management is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com; advanced Excel skills.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounting team. In this role, you will own our accounts payable and receivable functions, play a central part in the monthly close process, and bring expertise in consumer packaged goods accounting — including trade spend management. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, COGS, account reconciliations, prepaid, fixed assets, and accruals
• Support monthly inventory reconcilations and prepare related journal entries
• Prepare variance analysis and financial statements
• Manage day-to-day accounting workflows across areas such as Accounts payable and receivables
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies
• Prepare Bi-weekly payroll and related journal entries
• Maintain strong internal controls over the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles
• Support the accounting for trade promotions, allowances and deductions, including reconciliating trade spend accruals
• Help maintain trade spend forecasts and reporting
• Support external audit requests and maintain thorough documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Assist in the development and enforcement of accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications
