Job summary

Coda Search is partnering with a fast-growing consumer goods company based in Brooklyn, NY. We are seeking a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and will play a key role in managing the month-end close and building scalable processes.

You will oversee the month-end close, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules, using Excel to analyze variances and support the annual audit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a mid-size or larger organization.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Manage multiple entities and prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Oversee fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules
• Utilize Excel to analyze expenses and highlight variances
• Review invoices and resolve vendor issues
• Manage general ledger reconciliations and prepare journal entries
• Support the annual audit by preparing schedules and serving as a liaison with external auditors
