Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Senior Accountant – Corporate Accounting based in Arlington, VA. The role reports to Senior Corporate Accounting Manager and oversees US GAAP and IFRS reporting, month-end close, and consolidation for U.S. entities.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of accounting experience, CPA preferred, and hands-on Oracle Fusion ERP experience. The company offers strong benefits and career growth in a multinational energy environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Experience with integrated ERP solutions; Oracle Fusion preferred.
• Multinational company experience preferred.
• Renewable energy industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting, multi-tier consolidation, and financial reporting for US corporate entities.
• Own month-end and quarter-end close activities including GL integrity and reconciliations.
• Oversee debt facilities accounting and covenant compliance.
• Prepare US GAAP and IFRS reporting packages and footnotes.
• Analyze financial data; report on trends, KPIs, and variances.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Construction, and Operations teams for reporting.
• Support accounts payable, PO creation, supplier approvals, and approvals.
• Assist intercompany accounts receivable processes and journal entries.
