Kemper CPA Group LLP, a top 100 public accounting firm, seeks a Senior Accountant for our Robinson, Illinois office. This advanced, non-management professional will handle varied accounting, tax, and auditing tasks, with opportunities to mentor staff and interact with clients.

The position requires 3–5 years in public accounting (audit and tax); CPA preferred. Some overtime during peak seasons; on-site work in Robinson, IL with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3–5 years public accounting in audit and tax.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients and staff.
• Mentor interns and newer staff to build skills.
• Owns assigned work and takes initiative.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Regular attendance is required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and perform monthly controllership tasks (AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, reporting).
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
• Complete tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Coordinate audit engagements and oversee staff work.
• Research issues and respond to client and staff questions clearly.
• Manage multiple client requests efficiently and timely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
