Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3–5 years of public accounting experience in both audit and tax.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• Proficiency with common office software and technology used to complete assignments.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients and staff.
• Ability to take ownership of work and work under time constraints.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly controllership tasks including AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow analysis, and related notes.
• Complete moderately complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Coordinate and in-charge audit engagements and supervise staff work.
• Research issues and respond clearly to clients and staff inquiries.
• Manage multiple client requests and maintain timely delivery of work.
• Additional duties as assigned.
