Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA Exam eligibility preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and staff.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and work under time constraints.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts and a desire to build a public accounting career.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic general accounting tasks: bank reconciliations, accruals, analysis, and depreciation updates.
• Prepare simple tax returns within deadlines.
• Work independently and in teams on tax and/or audit engagements.
• Assist in preparing final reports and follow up on discrepancies.
• Record routine journal entries and assist in preparing simple financial statements.
