Ledgent is seeking Senior Accountant candidates for contract or temp-to-hire roles across the Bay Area, including Oakland, Concord, Fremont and San Jose. Hours: 40 per week. Positions require preparing journal entries, closing books, analyzing variances and supporting audits.

Ideal applicants hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2+ years of progressive accounting experience. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to protected characteristics as required by

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities.
• Analyze financial data and identify variances.
• Assist with audits and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Support process improvements and accounting best practices.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

2+ years of progressive accounting experience
