Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant in Frederick, MD, to support month-end close, financial analysis, and budgeting within a growing construction-focused team. The role is on-site, reports to the Controller, and collaborates with the broader accounting group to ensure accurate financial records.

The successful candidate will have 3–5+ years of accounting experience, strong close and journal entry skills, and familiarity with cash/vendor payments and regulatory compliance.

• Strong month-end close and journal entry experience
• Experience with financial analysis, cash/vendor payments, and compliance

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare financial analyses and assist with reporting
• Manage cash and vendor payment processes
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure accounting compliance and accurate records
• Collaborate with project accounting, AP, and cross-functional teams
