Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, financial analysis, and budgeting for its Frederick, MD operations. This on-site role reports to the Controller and partners with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s in accounting or finance, and strong month-end close skills. The position offers health benefits, a 401(k) match, and an employee stock purchase program.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong month-end close and journal entry experience.
• Experience with financial analysis, cash/vendor payments, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial analyses and support financial reporting activities.
• Manage cash and vendor payment processes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Support accounting compliance and maintain accurate financial records.
• Partner with project accounting, AP, and other cross‑functional teams.
