Job summary

Helmerich & Payne is seeking a Senior Accountant, Consolidations & Intercompany Accounting, to join our Corporate Accounting team in Tulsa, OK. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, manage intercompany balances, and ensure accurate consolidated reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, 7+ years of related experience, and excels in multi-entity environments while driving process improvements and standardization across accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Consolidations and financial reporting for domestic and international entities.
• Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation entries.
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and schedules.
• Support external and internal reporting with timely information.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close under GAAP.
