Job summary

Primary Recruiting Services in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The role emphasizes closing processes and preparing financial statements, with responsibility for intercompany and consolidation activities.

You will manage fixed asset accounting, propose control improvements, and perform P&L analysis and ad hoc reporting. A bachelor’s in accounting and 5+ years of public or GL accounting experience are required. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or GL accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all closing processes and financial statement preparation.
• Own the intercompany and consolidations process.
• Manage the fixed asset accounting function.
• Make recommendations and create plans to improve internal controls when necessary.
• Perform P&L analysis and ad hoc reporting when necessary.
• Daily and weekly balance sheet reconciliations and checking for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Apply GAAP methods; make recommendations to improve practices or procedures.
• Create journal entries and perform bank reconciliations.
