Job summary

Temp-Con, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Accountant to work with the Controller on general accounting functions, GAAP compliance, analysis, and account reconciliation.

You will perform reconciliations, invoicing, assist with A/R and A/P, participate in month-end and year-end closings, review weekly payroll, and collaborate with the Accounting Team while maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in contracting business or accounting.
• 3+ years of senior level accounting experience.
• Full knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform various reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliation and investigating discrepancies.
• Maintains and sets vendors.
• Processes internal company invoicing.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable and Account Payable functions.
• Participate in various month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Assists with the reviewing of weekly payroll.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Senior Accountant works with the Controller to handle general accounting functions, ensuring compliance with General Accepted Accounting Principles, analysis, and reconciliation of accounts. This person will report directly to the Controller and work hand in hand with the other members of the Accounting Team and must be able to work amicably with a variety of personalities while maintaining professionalism while applying a broad knowledge of advanced accounting methods and procedures .
