Job summary

Quantum Electronic Payments LLC an Anaheim-based fintech organization seeks a Senior Accountant to support complex reconciliations, the close process, and ensure accuracy across accounting workflows. You will collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor and leadership while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, general ledger, and close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex reconciliations across settlement accounts, ACH, wires, and processor activity
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues related to settlement or billing activity
• Review reports and identify unusual trends or inconsistencies
• Assist in improving organization and consistency across accounting workflows
• Support junior team members by answering questions and helping troubleshoot issues
• Assist with audit requests and reporting as needed
