As Senior Accountant, you will own portions of the monthly close, drive close efficiency, support acquisitions, and establish best practices across the consolidated company to inform strategic decisions.

This in-person role is based in San Francisco, New York, or Chicago, reporting to the Controller. You will lead ERP optimization, handle technical accounting matters (ASC 606/842), intercompany

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience (Big 4, tech or start-ups).
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or comparable mid-market ERP.
• Proven experience in monthly/quarterly financial reporting and close processes.
• Strong GL, subledger, and reconciliation expertise.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Audit readiness mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own portions of the monthly close and variance analysis.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Lead GL reconciliation, account analysis, and accruals.
• Provide analyses for executives and board stakeholders; support forecasting/budgeting.
• Lead ERP optimization and close workflow improvements.
