Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Senior Accountant to collaborate with the Accounting Leader for Doors and business partners. The role supports a broad set of accounting activities, executes the financial close, performs technical accounting research, analyzes data, and drives process improvements while maintaining strong controls and ethical standards.

The Senior Accountant will lead monthly close cycles, review statements, and partner with the Doors Accounting Leader to rectify inconsistencies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent.
• 5–7 years minimum related experience.
• CPA or Masters in Accounting preferred.
• Experience with a global company and US GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations per US GAAP.
• Prepare Balance Sheet Reviews and ensure controls are documented.
• Research technical accounting topics and analyze data.
• Lead or contribute to process improvement projects.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders.
