Job summary

STN is seeking a Senior Accountant in Pleasanton, CA to own core general ledger accounting, manage the monthly close, and support financial reporting, audit, and internal controls. The role requires 3–5 years of GL experience and strong US GAAP knowledge.

Preferred CPA and SOX experience; Advanced Excel and ERP/GL system proficiency are essential. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent).
• : 3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• : Solid understanding of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
• : Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/general ledger systems.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Month-End Close: prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, analyze discrepancies, support monthly/quarterly/year-end close.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: assist in financial statements and variance analyses for management.
• Audit Support & Internal Controls: respond to audit inquiries, enforce internal controls, identify gaps, support SOX docs.
• SOX: assist with documentation and testing of controls.
