Job summary

Nautilus Bio is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment in Seattle. You will own the monthly close, GL accounting, and accounts payable while ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of accounting experience, a degree in Accounting or Finance, and proficiency with NetSuite and Excel. CPA is preferred and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in GL, close, and AP.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus) and Excel expertise.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly close, prepare journal entries for accruals and prepaids.
• Prepare reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner.
• Maintain SOX controls documentation and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including offshore members.
• Support FP&A with accrual estimates and amortization schedules.
• Assist with audits and implementation of accounting policies.
• Lead ad-hoc accounting projects as the company scales.
