Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• GAAP understanding and strong accounting skills.
• Experience with reconciliations and month-end close.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform bank, credit card, and financing reconciliations.
• Assist with inventory, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
• Prepare schedules for financial reporting, tax filings, and audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
