Job summary

Alliance Markets & Vending is seeking a senior accountant to own the full accounting cycle for 1–2 business units, collaborating closely with operators to understand the drivers behind the numbers.

You will manage AR/AP, reconciliations, payroll reporting, and GL activity, while ensuring accurate month-end close and inventory/COGS processes in a fast-moving, decentralized environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle ownership.
• Solid grounding in U.S. GAAP, month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, AP, AR, and GL accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to trace operational activity to the financials.
• Instinct to pursue issues through to resolution and communicate clearly with accounting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting cycle for 1–2 business units, from daily reports to month-end close.
• Serve as primary accounting contact for operators and local staff.
• Manage AR, AP, cash reconciliations, payroll reporting, and GL activity.
• Reconcile revenue to cash deposits and payment activity.
• Own month-end close including journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory accounting and COGS, investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain Vending Management System data with operations.
• Perform monthly trend and variance analysis with operators.
