3 Floyds Brewing in Munster, Indiana is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will maintain accurate general ledger records, support month-end and year-end closes, and analyze financial results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. ERP experience and manufacturing industry familiarity are a plus for our growing brewery operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis.
• Experience with an ERP/accounting system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation calculations.
• Assist with audits and tax-related requests.
• Ensure accounting practices comply with policies and GAAP.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting schedules and analyses.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Provide financial analysis to support operational decisions.
