Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Indiana seeks a skilled accounting professional to support internal financial reporting for manufacturing operations.

You will prepare income statements, balance sheets and cash flow analyses, post general ledger entries, reconcile accounts monthly, and oversee cost accounting, capital projects, tooling orders and depreciation.

A focus on accuracy, ERP experience (SAP preferred) and strong communication will help you contribute to audits and monthly performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 4-year accounting degree required.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• 3 years' experience in a similar manufacturing accounting role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze internal financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and compare to budgets and prior year.
• Prepare monthly internal reports by department/cost center.
• Post general ledger entries and reconcile accounts monthly.
• Oversee internal orders, including capital projects and tooling/engineering orders, and record depreciation.
• Develop accounting procedures and answer questions by researching data; assist audits and cost accounting.
• Assist with year-end external audits and inventory reconciliation.
