Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a well-established global organization in Bloomington, MN to recruit a Senior Accountant for its Corporate Accounting team. The role combines month-end close, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement with exposure to North American and global entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Senior Accountant or comparable corporate accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliation experience.
• Public-company experience and/or public accounting preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• SAP, OneStream, or similar systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close workpapers.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Coordinate close activities across North American and/or global entities.
• Support intercompany and consolidation-related accounting processes.
• Assist with audits and SOX compliance.
• Partner with FP&A and other business teams on accounting and reporting matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting.
• Participate in system enhancements and special projects.

We’re partnering with a leading company seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. The role offers a nice combination of month-end close, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, account analysis, and process improvement, with exposure to North American and broader corporate accounting.
