Our client, a consumer goods company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Bloomington, IL.

Responsibilities

• Manage month- and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting.
• Oversee global fixed asset accounting (acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, compliance).
• Prepare financial disclosures, support statutory audits, and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and internal/external reporting requirements.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Support internal audits and ad-hoc financial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 4–5 years of accounting/reporting experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems a plus.
