T-Mobile is seeking a Senior Accountant in Frisco, TX to support the development and optimization of intelligent accounting systems, leveraging automation and analytics to improve financial accuracy and month-end close efficiency.

The role involves preparing complex journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis in line with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies. It requires strong SOX controls knowledge and collaboration across finance functions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of related experience.
• Advanced degree with 3+ years of related experience is acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and analyze complex journal entries and reconciliations using automation and analytics.
• Analyze key business drivers and translate changes into accurate financial results.
• Ensure timely monthly close with automated tooling and variance analytics, with peer review guidance.
• Leverage digital tools to extract and manage large transactional datasets for insights.
• Generate ad hoc reports by integrating data from multiple systems with clear summaries.
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives translating business changes into accounting requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
