Vaco is working with an industry-leading manufacturing company near Wilmington that is looking for a Senior Accountant/Analyst with 4 or more years of corporate general ledger accounting experience. They seek someone with strong day-to-day accounting skills and an interest in performing tasks such as accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, posting journal entries, and adjusting journal entries. The role involves significant involvement with month-end close duties including journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, and adjusting entries. Experience with manufacturing accounting concepts and possibly cost accounting is preferred. Variance analysis skills and strong Excel skills are essential.
