Job description

We are working with a top-tier financial services company that is looking for an Accountant who will also have some Financial Analyst duties. Ideal candidates will have some understanding and experience working under an IFRS-based accounting system and will have strong hands-on experience with IT systems, process improvement, and automation within financial accounting systems.

Salary range for this newly created opening will be $100k to $115k, and they offer an excellent benefits and retirement package along with a 10% bonus. Experience with systems like SAP, Cognos, and PowerBI would be beneficial. Hands-on exposure and experience with the SAP FICO modules would be ideal but not required. This role is hybrid, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

The role will focus heavily on general ledger work, analysis, and reporting. There will be interactions with other departments to discuss variances, root causes, decision-making, and budget impacts. Experience with US GAAP and statutory regulations and standards would also be advantageous.
