Job summary

JPW Industries in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Senior Accountant to own key balance sheet and income statement accounts and drive a timely, accurate month-end close. This full-time professional role combines hands-on accounting with the use of AI daily to work smarter.

You will work within a multi-brand manufacturing environment, support audits and lender reporting, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and partner across departments to ensure integrity and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Accounting a plus.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of progressive general accounting experience with close experience.
• Background in a product-focused business (distribution/manufacturing/wholesale/retail).
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and practical application.
• Hands-on SAP experience; familiarity with Workday Adaptive, Prophix, Workiva, Power BI, Alteryx, Avalara, Claude or equivalent AI tool.

Responsibilities

• Own key balance sheet and income statement accounts and manage month-end close.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes on time.
• Support audits, lender reporting, and covenant compliance.
• Leverage AI tools to automate processes and improve controls.
