JPW Industries in La Vergne, TN is hiring an Accounting Manager to own the monthly close, consolidation, and financial reporting. You will lead a talented accounting team, drive automation through AI, and partner with executives and the Board to deliver accurate, timely insights.

The role emphasizes ownership of technical accounting positions, cross-functional collaboration, and deployment of AI-enabled finance systems in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; MBA or MAcc a plus.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, manufacturing/distribution experience preferred.
• CPA a plus and experience leading an accounting team.
• Strong ownership of month-end close and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including consolidation with international entities.
• Deliver US GAAP financial statements and covenant reporting for executive leadership and the Board.
• Be the go-to expert on revenue recognition, inventory valuation, leases, income taxes, and debt.
• Build an AI-enabled team and implement AI-driven process improvements.
• Coordinate with external audit, tax and advisory partners.
