Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to directly manage daily accounting functions for multiple clients in Chicago. The role involves accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL and inventory accounting, with responsibility for cash flow, budgeting, and forecasts.

You will coordinate month-end closings, prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and investigate variances. Interaction with client owners and audits is key to success.

Qualifications

• Experience with month-end closings.
• Ability to prepare and review financial statements.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

• Prepare/review financial statements and reporting package, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow

• Monthly bank reporting/credit compliance
• Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
